India Edges South Korea 3-2 in Thrilling: In the female division of the Asian Champions Trophy hockey competition on Tuesday, India beat South Korea 3-2 to record their second straight victory.

Sangita Kumari (3rd minute) & Deepika (20th) gave India a 2-0 lead in the first half. However, Korea rallied in the third quarter and equalized through goals from Yuri Lee (34th) and captain Eunbi Cheon (38th).

However, Deepika’s penalty kick in the 57th minute gave India a narrow victory, so the game was far from done.

On Monday, India won their tournament opener 4-0 over Malaysia. against Thursday, the hosts will take against Thailand.

Thailand defeated Japan 1-1 in the day’s opening match, while China, the current Olympic silver medallists, thrashed Malaysia 5-0 to win the event for the second time in a row.
