Cricket Australia has taken a big decision regarding left-handed batsman David Warner. CA has lifted the lifetime captaincy ban on Warner. This clearly means that Warner will now be seen captaining his team Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League. Warner presented his views before the three-member independent panel of the board, due to which the panel appeared satisfied and lifted the ban on the 37-year-old player with immediate effect.
Warner was found guilty of ball tampering in the Cape Town Test match on the South Africa tour in 2018. For this reason, he was banned for one year from playing and a lifetime ban from captaincy was imposed on him. Warner was the vice-captain of the Australia team at that time.
